Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat gets global release date (finally!)

During a special livestream held yesterday (8) by NebulaJoy, it was revealed that Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat will be released on March 23rd. The game opened a beta test in the United States on the 8th and today (9th) it will be available in Europe.

During the beta test launch livestream in the United States, NebulaJoy announced that Devil May Cry Peak of Combat, one of the most anticipated hack’n slash games announced in 2017, will finally be released to the public worldwide. Yes, it will still be in an open beta test, but it will finally be the end of a story that has been going on for many years.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat has taken so long and gone through so many obstacles that it was even considered cancelled at one point. The game appeared at an iPad Pro event in 2021, and then disappeared. In 2023, the pre-registration in the West finally appeared.

Originally released in China in 2019, Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a hack’n slash action game developed by NebulaJoy (aka YunchangGame) with a license from Capcom. The game has RPG elements that allow players to control several iconic characters from the DMC franchise, including Dante, Vergil, and Lady. Peak of Combat features impressive graphics and gameplay faithful to the early games in the series.

Currently, the game is only available in China and neighboring countries, as well as in some Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, where it has English language support. This limited availability has caused some confusion among players, leading many to believe that the game had already been released globally in 2021.

However, fans of the Devil May Cry series won’t have to wait much longer for the official release of Peak of Combat, which is scheduled for 2023 on Android and iOS versions. With the success of the franchise and the expectations surrounding this new game, Peak of Combat could become one of the biggest mobile game releases this year.
