Mega Man X DiVE will be relaunched as an OFFLINE GAME

Capcom announced today (12) during the Capcom Showcase that Mega Man X DiVE will be relaunched as an offline game. The game will be released for Android, iOS, and PC (Steam).

The announcement of the “DiVE preservation” comes just a few days after the confirmation of the shutdown of the Japanese version.

Enter the battle as the Maverick Hunter Mega Man X and a variety of new and familiar faces from the Mega Man™ franchise, including Zero, Proto Man, Bass, Sigma, Axl, and MegaMan.EXE.

Save the Deep Log by traversing over 900 playable stages, defeating fan-favorite bosses, strengthening weapons, and unlocking over 100 customizable characters. By participating in a wide variety of missions, players can earn rewards to upgrade and customize characters to unlock even more missions!

MEGA MAN X DiVE Offline offers players the opportunity to fully explore and enjoy the Deep Log with its rich offline content.

A beloved mobile game among fans of the franchise will receive an offline version.

Although Mega Man X Dive was designed as an online mobile game with gacha elements, many players expressed the desire to enjoy the experience in an offline environment.

With the confirmation of the offline version, it now remains to be seen whether it will be a free or paid game, and whether it will retain the gacha elements.

During the presentation, Capcom made it clear that it will be a new game and that progress from the current version will not be shared with the new version.

Mega Man X Dive will be released in 2023 for PC and Mobile.

This is not the first time Capcom has “reheated” a Mega Man game. In February, the company released the remake of Mega Man X for Android, 10 years after its release on iOS.

What is Mega Man X Dive?

Mega Man X Dive is an action-platformer game developed by Capcom. It is a spin-off of the popular Mega Man X series, offering players a nostalgic experience with updated graphics and enhanced gameplay mechanics.

In Mega Man X Dive, players take control of the famous robotic hero, Mega Man X, and embark on thrilling missions to defeat robotic enemies and challenging bosses. The game features a wide variety of stages, each with its own theme and unique challenges.

One notable feature of Mega Man X Dive is the “Dive” system, which allows players to explore classic stages from previous Mega Man X games. Players can collect and upgrade a variety

of weapons and abilities to customize Mega Man X’s gameplay style.

Additionally, the game offers multiplayer game modes where players can join others in cooperative battles or compete against each other in exciting player vs. player matches.
