When it comes to GTA-style games, it’s quite common for games to either try to closely mimic the franchise or have short and repetitive gameplay. City of Outlaws, the new game from VPlay Interactive, appears very promising.
City of Outlaws is an open-world RPG for Android that entered early access in the Philippines and Indonesia on August 25. The game quickly became an instant hit on the Google Play Store in these countries, so much so that the developer decided to remove them by the end of the weekend.
However, it was already too late for the APK enthusiasts. The game is already available on sites like APKCombo, and you can simply download the APK to play. However, keep in mind that you will likely need a VPN directed to a server in the Philippines or Indonesia.
The premise is simple: players take on the role of a gangster with the goal of controlling and expanding their domination over the city.
City of Outlaws offers players the freedom to do whatever they want, whether it’s driving sports cars, riding motorcycles, or equipping themselves with weapons. In this regard, City of Outlaws is quite similar to GTA.
However, attention has been drawn to the way the game presents itself. With RPG elements like character creation and customization and a beautifully narrated introduction showcasing the open world, it demonstrates an interesting production value.
Furthermore, the new game features missions, events, PvP and PvE modes, as well as a character and vehicle customization system. Players can interact with others online, forming alliances or rivalries.
City of Outlaws was initially launched in Indonesia, which means players from that country can easily access it if they have an Android device.
