A new development for console emulation fans on mobile, the Wii U now has an emulator for Android, the CEMU. The emulator is the same as the PC version, but now comes in an APK version, available for Android 11 or higher.
For now, the emulator is not compatible with processors with Mali GPUs and works only with Adreno, meaning you need at least a Snapdragon 845 or higher running on Android 11 or above.
Requirements to run the CEMU emulator on Android:
CEMU is an open-source Wii U emulator. First released in October 2015, the emulator was created by an independent team with versions only for Windows PCs.
Lightweight and fast, the emulator has almost complete compatibility with the Nintendo console’s library. This emulator can run major Wii U releases such as Mario Kart 8, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and many others.
As an 8th generation console, the Wii U arrived late to the party, and many of its games seem more like 7th generation titles. Still, there are great games on this platform.
The mobile version, nicknamed CEMU MOBILE, had a leaked build that is already circulating on the internet. Although still quite premature, it already shows great potential.
According to videos from channels like Adeh, the emulator can already run games like Mario Kart 8 and Mario 3D World quite well.

Note: it’s worth mentioning that the emulator is still in an experimental stage, this is a leaked build, and the official release should be coming soon.
