Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm will be released on September 25 for Android and iOS

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have announced the release of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for smartphones with Android and iOS. The game, which originally debuted on PlayStation 3 in 2008, will be released on mobile platforms on September 25, 2024, and will cost $9.99 (Around R$ 50).

Classic Story and Gameplay with New Features

Ultimate Ninja Storm follows the journey of young Naruto, who dreams of becoming Hokage, and allows players to relive the main battles from the manga and anime. The title will feature 25 playable characters, along with various missions and mini-games set in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Among the new features of the mobile version, Bandai Namco confirmed that the game will have new features, such as auto-save, two control modes for battles (casual or manual), battle assistance for those who prefer a lighter experience, and improved movements for combat and exploration.

Players will also have access to a more accessible tutorial and the “retry” option if they fail any mission, which promises to make the experience easier for both new and veteran Naruto fans.

No Online Battles and Offline Gameplay

Despite the improvements, the mobile version of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will not feature online battles. A connection will only be required to download the game and perform backups or saved data transfers. However, most features will be available offline, allowing players to enjoy the game without needing an internet connection.

Successful Franchise Continues to Grow

The announcement trailer released by Bandai Namco also provided updates on the success of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise. To date, the series has sold 20 million units across various platforms, establishing itself as one of the top anime-based fighting titles.

Originally released in 2008, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm has received five main titles and several remasters over the years. The latest release, Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS (2023), featured the complete story of Naruto, from his childhood to the journey of his son, Boruto.
