Tencent is developing a game in the style of “Horizon Zero Dawn” and “Palworld”

Tencent has opened pre-registration for “Codename: Modila,” its new survival game, in the Tencent Pioneer app. The company released images of the game on social media, showcasing a futuristic open world with robots, reminiscent of the visual style of the popular Horizon Zero Dawn franchise on PlayStation.

The images feature a protagonist similar to Aloy, the main character of Horizon, known for her archery skills and exploration of a machine-dominated world. In “Codename: Modila,” the protagonist appears to be in a similar setting, suggesting an open-world survival scenario.

This game closely resembles Horizon Zero Dawn, from the protagonist’s aesthetic to the world’s robots that can be “tamed” much like those in Horizon.

Promotional posters feature phrases like “Change the world, change the way of life” and “A new survival game is about to begin.” These messages indicate that the game is likely to follow a sandbox style, allowing players to interact freely with the environment. Additionally, there are visual elements reminiscent of the game Palworld, with “robotic animals” assisting the character in various tasks.
