EL Hero, the Brazilian Battle Royale, gets a release date

El Hero, the new Battle Royale developed by Moonite Games and envisioned by the Brazilian influencer Rodrigo “El Gato”, has its official release date confirmed for February 20, 2025. The title will be available for free on Android and iOS, promising innovations tailored to the Brazilian mobile gaming community.

Launch with Exclusive Skin and Partnerships

To celebrate the release, the game will feature an exclusive skin of influencer Luva de Pedreiro, the result of a partnership announced at the end of 2024. According to the development team, this is just the first of many collaborations planned with prominent names in the market.

“Mobile players represent about 48% of gamers in Brazil, and delivering a Brazilian game with maps, skins, and items that reference our country is a big step for the industry,” commented El Gato, highlighting the importance of the project for the national gaming scene.

Testing Phases and Community Support

El Hero underwent an alpha phase in 2024 with around 2,000 players and, since October, has been in open beta with over 20,000 active participants. During the testing period, Moonite Games encouraged community collaboration, receiving suggestions, bug reports, and feedback through channels like Discord.

This collaborative process was crucial for refining the game, which now features maps for up to 50 players, various game modes, and an optimized experience for devices with different performance levels.
