The Brazilian developer WINDIE Games has released Curupira: The Forest Guardian, an action-adventure game inspired by national folklore. Available for free on Android, the game puts players in the role of the legendary Curupira, as well as other creatures from Brazil’s rich folklore.

In the game, the goal is clear: protect the forest from threats like deforestation. It’s a running game, but players can also jump and dodge obstacles. The environments are varied.

It reminded me a lot of Robot Unicorn Attack, Tiny Wings, and other games from the past, but this one has that special “Brazilian flavor.”
