Recently, Apple has been collaborating with various game developers to bring more Windows games to Mac and iPad. Today, the company revealed that its partnership with Capcom will also extend to iPhones.

Resident Evil 4 Remake and Village will run exclusively on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, which feature the brand-new A17 Pro chip, including Ray Tracing capabilities. However, the games may also be released on other more powerful Apple mobile devices like the iPad Air and iPad Pro.

As for the release timing, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, and Death Stranding will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max later this year, while Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2024.

Apple claims that the “professional-class” GPU in the new iPhones is 20% faster, featuring a 6-core design with improved maximum performance and energy efficiency. Apple states that its new chip, the A17 Pro, enables “next-level mobile gaming with fast and efficient performance and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.”
