1. Delta Force
Starting with the incredible Delta Force by Tencent Games.
After the huge flop of Warzone Mobile, Delta Force arrives promising to revitalize the FPS genre on mobile, which has been struggling in recent years.
The game features two modes: one inspired by Escape from Tarkov—which isn’t entirely new, as Tencent already produces Arena Breakout.
The innovation here is that the Tarkov mode in Delta Force is much more dynamic, even including wildlife. Watch out for crocodiles!
The other mode is in the style of Battlefield. Remember Battlefield Mobile, which flopped before even launching? Now we finally get a good game in that style.
The Battlefield mode in Delta Force is simply insane—a real chaos with bullets, punches, and explosions everywhere.
A major shooting game with solid optimization like we haven’t seen on mobile in a long time. This one is set to steal players from other games that are starting to feel stale. Watch out, COD and PUBG Mobile.

2. Ananta
One of the most ambitious projects I’ve ever seen on mobile is Ananta, the new game from NetEase arriving in 2025 for Android, iOS, consoles, and PC.
Now picture this: a mix of Genshin Impact + GTA + Spider-Man.
The scope of this game is massive, and I already foresee complaints about compatibility issues with older devices.
NetEase has already showcased some gameplay, and it seems like you’ll be able to switch characters at any time and drive around the city.
They even had the audacity to parody the GTA trailer. Classic NetEase.

3. Nevermess to Everness
Wait, isn’t this also the gameplay from Ananta?
Yes, my friends, it seems like the desire to create a Genshin Impact + GTA has become a trend among Chinese developers.
Here comes Perfect World and Hotta Studio (the creators of Tower of Fantasy) planning their own anime-style GTA.
Nevermess to Everness (NTE) will also be an open-world game with anime visuals set in a futuristic city that feels like Tokyo with a more cyberpunk aesthetic.
Why does everyone want to make a Genshin?
Well, basically, Genshin has generated $5 billion—that’s with a B.
So, it’s no wonder we’re seeing this epidemic of anime-style open-world games, and it doesn’t seem like it will stop anytime soon.

4. Final Fantasy XIV Mobile
After numerous rumors and leaks, it has been confirmed that Tencent Games will bring one of the best online RPGs of today to mobile.
Final Fantasy XIV will arrive on mobile sometime in 2025, first launching in Japan and then expanding to the rest of the world.
The mobile version promises to stay faithful to the PC version and will not include any automated assistance, preserving the essence of this classic.
Square Enix has faced numerous flops in mobile gacha games. It seems the company now wants to focus on games that people actually play.
Lightspeed Studios, under Tencent, is handling the mobile port development, so we can expect a well-optimized game.

5. Warframe Mobile
Warframe was already launched on iOS in February 2024 and is expected to arrive on Android in 2025.
Warframe, for those unfamiliar, is an online cooperative action game that combines third-person shooting with melee combat.
Here’s a heads-up: this game will be massive on iOS, so I can only imagine the complaints when the Android version is released.

6. Strinova
Strinova is a third-person multiplayer online shooter.
The game has already been released on PC, and to quickly describe it, I’d call it an anime-style Counter-Strike with characters that sometimes appear in 2D.
“What do you mean 2D? It’s clearly 3D.”
The game features mechanics where characters turn into “paper,” allowing them to dodge bullets, walk on walls as if they were paintings, and more.
A very unique shooter game, also confirmed for mobile.

7. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad
First showcased at G-Star 2024 and later at The Game Awards, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an open-world game set in the popular TV and streaming series universe.
Not many details were revealed, only that the game is being developed by Netmarble and will have versions for PC and mobile.
In the trailer, it appears that players will embody a character reliving major battles from the series.
Warner and HBO are desperately looking for a great Game of Thrones game, and it seems they are betting everything on this title.

8. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin
Speaking of Netmarble, where is The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin?
This game was announced in 2022 and took so long to release that I think Netmarble will need to deliver something amazing to make up for the wait.
After all, when its trailer first launched, anime open-world games were a novelty on mobile. Now, not so much.
Anyway, I’m not rooting for this project to flop, but the hype for the anime The Seven Deadly Sins has somewhat passed, hasn’t it?
This game will need to be exceptional to make up for the delay.
9. Need for Speed Mobile
With development dragging on since 2023, the new Need for Speed Mobile seems to finally be moving forward.
It appears the game has been waiting for advancements in mobile devices, which now boast improved hardware to handle this open-world racing game.
From the beta tests, you can already see that this game will be incredible.
Yes, I know there are similar games on mobile, but optimization is always an issue. Hopefully, they get it right this time, because speed and lag are two things that don’t mix in an online racing game.
10. Valorant Mobile
Riot Games has confirmed multiple times that its incredibly popular FPS will arrive on mobile devices.
With over 14 million players enjoying the game on PC daily, the demand for Valorant Mobile has always been enormous.
The game has been in testing in China since 2021 and should be coming to the West soon.
This is so confirmed that, recently, Riot cracked down on NetEase and any other company trying to make a Valorant clone.
11, 12, and 13. Ubisoft and its games that never release
Where are Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence?
Everyone’s getting a bit tired of Ubisoft’s delays, both on consoles and mobile.
It takes so long that by the time the game is finally released, the hype has already faded.
Rainbow Six Mobile needs no introduction; it’s a highly anticipated game. But I think the community’s hate, due to Area F2, will be so strong that I have my doubts about this project’s future.
Meanwhile, The Division Resurgence seems like a very interesting project for mobile.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft isn’t in a great phase right now, and honestly, I’m concerned about these games’ launches. Hopefully, they succeed.
There’s also Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, which will be a free open-world AC game filled with missions.
Come on, Ubisoft, just release the games already.

14. Once Human
Once Human, the new sandbox survival game from NetEase, will launch for Android and iOS in April 2025, following pre-registrations in May and closed beta tests in November 2024.
The mobile version will be optimized for even modest hardware, maintaining immersion and already planning future console launches with full cross-play support.
Additionally, three new scenarios—Code: Purification, Code: Deviation, and Code: Broken—will be added starting Q3 2025, bringing challenges ranging from environmental restoration to intense PvP battles.

15. Monster Hunter Outlanders
Monster Hunter Outlanders is the latest mobile addition to the franchise, created in collaboration between TiMi Studio Group (Tencent Games) and Capcom.
Inspired by Monster Hunter Wilds, the game delivers a robust hunting experience in a richly detailed open world.
Focusing on survival, the game features equipment customization, cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, and battles against giant monsters, staying true to the series’ essence.
Without a global release date yet, Outlanders will have new tests soon. Fans can follow updates via Discord and official social media channels.

16. Rust Mobile
Level Infinite (Tencent), known for successes like PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings, is working on Rust Mobile, the mobile adaptation of the acclaimed survival game launched for PCs in 2013.
Focusing on customizable structures (such as Legacy Wood, Adobe, or Shipping Container) and a variety of Hazmat skins (Abyss, Nomad, and Arctic), the adaptation promises to retain the apocalyptic and immersive essence of the original.
With over five million copies sold in a decade on PC, Rust has the potential to revolutionize the genre once again, this time on mobile devices, offering a complete survival experience full of style.
It’s been about 10 years of calls for a Rust Mobile, and we’ve never had a game that came close to its concept—until now.
17. Destiny Rising
Destiny: Rising is finally confirmed for mobile.
The game, which had rumors of a mobile version as early as 2021, had a beta in November and looks fantastic. It will feature PvE, PvP, and vast maps to explore.
The global release date for Android and iOS hasn’t been announced yet, but the expectation is that the game will deliver the rich narrative and engaging gameplay that made the franchise a global success.

18. Arknights: Endfield
Arknights: Endfield is a game with versions for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile, set in the same universe as the popular tower defense RPG.
But wait, Endfield will be a Honkai: Star Rail-style game, but with real-time combat. I tested the game at BGS on its PC version, and I liked what I saw.
The game was already 100% subtitled in Portuguese.

19. Racing Master
Racing Master is a NetEase game that has been in beta testing since 2021. Created in collaboration with the legendary Codemasters, the developers behind GRID, the game boasts jaw-dropping graphics and focuses on arcade-style gameplay—a mix between a simulator and something like Forza.
A very visually impressive game, with graphics that even seem to feature ray tracing.
Another major release for mobile in 2025, though we still have no idea when it will actually come out.
20. Overwatch Mobile
Overwatch Mobile is officially in development, as confirmed by journalist Jason Schreier from Bloomberg, ending years of rumors about the popular team-based shooter coming to mobile devices.
The project is overseen by Walter Kong, general manager of Overwatch, though no release date has been announced.
There are questions about whether this is an adaptation of Overwatch 2 or an entirely new title, but there’s hope that this new foray into the mobile hero shooter market will succeed in what is notoriously a challenging genre.
21. Gameloft announces a new Carmen Sandiego game for 2025
We couldn’t leave out our beloved Gameloft. Yes, I know Gangstar New York is in the works, but what’s confirmed for mobile is Carmen Sandiego.
That’s right! It’s nostalgic for the golden days of Gameloft.
As a consolation, the game will be single-player and free of in-app purchases.

22. Blackfield
Blackfield is a 2.5D survival game with a strong narrative, expected in Q4 2025. Its visual style is similar to Limbo and Inside.
The story follows Marta, an eight-year-old girl, searching for her family in a dystopian world where humanity faces mechanical threats and terrifying creatures.
In addition to its dark atmosphere, the game blends resource management, faction relationships, and an engaging storyline, promising to captivate fans of narrative-driven survival games.
23. Persona 5: The Phantom X
Persona is one of my all-time favorite video game series, and I can’t wait to have it on my mobile device.
We still don’t know the release date for Persona 5: The Phantom X, but from the gameplay demonstrations seen in the latest beta, it seems to be an intriguing spin-off.
You can expect to see some familiar faces in this gacha game, as well as new characters in Persona 5: The Phantom X, who seem as unique as the original crew.
We’re looking forward to engaging in turn-based battles, strengthening social bonds with friends, and maybe even spending far too much time fishing at the pier. Let’s just hope the gacha mechanics aren’t too intrusive.
24. Bright Memory Infinite
Bright Memory: Infinite, the sequel to the popular Bright Memory, arrives on Android and iOS on January 17, 2025, priced at $4.99, offering gameplay that combines first-person shooting with unique combo-based action.
Ported from the PC version, the game features Xbox controller support, customizable virtual buttons, gyroscope aiming, and, on Android, frame rates of up to 120 FPS.
Set in 2036, the story revolves around a mysterious phenomenon in the skies worldwide, with SRO agents uncovering connections to an ancient mystery.
Players can use swords and guns with various ammunition types, along with items like incendiary bombs, sticky grenades, and guided missiles.
Developed by FYQD-Studio using Unreal Engine 4, the game brings improvements in level design, combat systems, and visuals compared to the first title, promising a top-tier mobile experience.
25. Where Winds Meet
Where Winds Meet is a martial arts-inspired adventure game set during the last days of the Ten Kingdoms era.
It takes place during a time when dynasties rose and fell rapidly, focusing on the end of the Southern Tang Dynasty, filled with political unrest and poetic tragedy.
The game offers tons of open-ended stories with Wuxia-inspired techniques like running on water and wall climbing.
The trailer promises plenty of hack-and-slash action with hints of Sekiro and Elden Ring.
Could we have a new mobile Souls-like game on our hands?
26. Demon Slayer: Battle Royal
While there’s no confirmed release date yet, we know that Demon Slayer: Battle Royale will be launched for mobile.
But don’t worry—it won’t be about Kimetsu no Yaiba characters wielding M4 rifles. Instead, it will be a game in the style of Onmyoji: Arena.
